STEM Careers

How does scientific discovery and technological innovation shape our world?
Research current and future job trends in the United States, specifically in the fields of math, science, engineering and technology. Through your research you will choose a career that interests you. Include breakthroughs made by people in their field and how their work has changed the world. The content of your project should inform others about the responsibilities and importance of scientific discovery and technological innovation in your chosen field.

1.  Use the links below to research careers in (STEM) science, math, engineering, and technology. As you review these sites, help us as a
   class
collaborate to create a list of possible careers in these important fields.

2.  From our list, choose 1 career you are most interested in learning more about. Make a copy of Research Project Doc. & 
Note-taking Doc, and gather research notes in the required areas. Add at least 2 questions of your own before you begin research.               
​               

3.  Complete the Notes sheet as you research your career. Use any of the websites below to guide you in your research.
    Use at least
3  high-quality sources

-- Be sure to write notes in your own words.
-- Cite sources at the bottom of your notes doc.

​    4.   When finished with research, you will share your findings with your classmates by creating... (essay, slides, brochure).
